About

Mount Zion Prayer Ministries (Montagne de Sion) is a prayer group. As Jesus said in Matthew 28:19-20 “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely, I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Similarly, to Jesus, MZPM, intends to pray for everyone around the world regardless he/she ethnics background, races, and religion affiliations. In addition to the prayer ministries, like Jesus, the group objective is to assist the less fortunate in the following social aspects: Disaster Relief, Mobile clinics in third world countries, where people don’t have access to medicines, medical health, childhood education, and nutrition.

PRAYER MINISTRIES

Mount Zion Prayer Ministries primary mission is to pray daily for everyone around the world who are deprived, hurt, wounded, sick, hopeless, faithless, regardless their ethnics background, regardless their political views and affiliations, and regardless their religions. “Oftentimes, God blesses others through our prayer life. Never stop making intercession for others. Never stop weeping for your unsaved family members,” as well as assisting the less fortunate with social needs such as: medicines, childhood education, nutrition, and clothing.

DISASTER RELIEF

We are committed to assist countries, which affected by disaster relief due to earthquake, hurricanes, and wars throughout the world without prejudice. As the singer, Celine Dion says about the disaster that happened in Asia years ago “You haven’t seen the power of a cyclone till you’ve seen the calm at the eye.” “Like everyone else in the world, I’ve been devastated by the loss and suffering of so many in South Asia….As a mother, I cannot imagine the pain that they are experiencing. We can all see that it’s going to take a long time for those people to rebuild their lives, and they will need our help for years to come.” It is the duty of MZPM to assist those who are deprive, we believe in helping each another.  “Each of us as human beings have a responsibility to reach out to help our brothers and sisters affected by disasters. One day it may be us or our loved ones needing someone to reach out and help,” Michael W. Hawkins, American Red Cross.

MOBILE CLINIC

MZPM thrive to bring medicines to the poor who lives in rural areas where they don’t have access to medical care. Some places around the world, those who live in the wood in deep rural areas don’t have access to medicines, even though they would have access, the cost would have been too high to procure. We, as a non-profit group, tend to bring medicines to those group of people. As Paul Farmer, a Harvard graduate who have worked in Haiti on Health issues, says “ It is cleared that the pharmaceutical industry is not, by any stretch of the imagination, doing enough to ensure that the poor have access to adequate medical care.”

MEDICAL HEALTH

According to “World Bank and World Health Organization (WHO): Half the world lacks access to essential health services, 100 million still pushed into extreme poverty because of health expenses.” In addition to our primary mission, MZPM will engage in helping those underprivilege to get access to medical care.

CHILDHOOD EDUCATION

“Over 265 million children are currently out of school — 22% of them are of primary school age,” According to www.children.org. Our organization goal and objective are to close that gap, to contribute and to reduce childhood illiteracy in the years to come.

NUTRITION FOR THE POOR

“At least 155 million people are facing acute hunger because of conflict, economic shocks and extreme weather, a new report has found. The Global Report on Food Crises 2021 says the COVID-19 pandemic has dramatically increased the risk of severe hunger in some regions of the world,” according to www.weforum.org. As in Luc 9:16 where Jesus shares five loaves of bread and two fish with a crowd, we as a religious group we intend to be guided by the same principles.
